$2000-TO-WIN REGIONAL MIDGETS AT WAYNE CITY SATURDAY

Wayne City, Illinois (May 28, 2019)………A $2000-to-win, $200-to-start open USAC Regional Midget event comes to the racy 1/8-mile Wayne County Speedway in Wayne City, Ill. this Saturday, June 1.

The rule package for the event is open to all “National” midgets, with D2 and chain-driven cars also permitted to compete.* Hoosier Tires must be on all four corners to compete.

The dirt oval located in southeastern Illinois has annually-hosted the “Jason Leffler Memorial,” which has been sanctioned by USAC since 2015 and won by the likes of Zach Daum, Daryn Pittman, Bryan Clauson, Brady Bacon and Tyler Thomas.* The sixth edition of the “Leffler Memorial” returns Oct. 17.

Pits open Saturday at 4pm with grandstands opening at 5:30pm.* Pill draw ends at 5:45pm with the drivers meeting taking place at 6pm, hot laps at 6:15pm and racing at 7pm.

Also on the card for this Saturday’s event are the HART Non-Wing 600 Outlaw Micros, which pay $600-to-win and $100-to-start and the Restrictors Junior Sprints.
