And Schrader pulled it all off in 83 with a broken shoulder that he managed to keep hidden from USAC for the last half of the season.

To win the 82 Silver Crown Championship Sheldon Kinser stepped out of his ride at the last race of the year after Schrader's car broke in qualifying. Schrader was so grateful that he named his son Sheldon.

In my opinion Schrader was one of the all time best on dirt. And few can match his ability to tell a story.
