As I said in another post, If you missed the Crown Race, You missed a great one. The last thirty laps Thomas and Leary were side by side or passing each other.
Also Learys run from last to second in the Sprint Feature, Awesome.
Dickie Gaines from 7th to win the B, Awesome.
All heats won from fourth or further back. Awesome.
Track, Awesome. I couldn't believe it.
Im not going to say anything about the wings, It was ok.
I did talk to several first time four crown attendees who raved about USAC and honestly had seemed to be unaware of USAC and BOSS in general but loved it.
That was a great night at Eldora, On the wall, Like it's supposed to be, fast and edge of your seat, will he make it racing. Glad I went. Actually didn't start getting a little cold till midnight.
Quite possibly the best track I've seen for a Four Crown ever.
