Opinions aside, that was the goal. In most cases, that goal is coming together.

Case in point. Three very talented drivers that drive for family teams that can’t afford to go National racing, but would be running up front if they were in National cars.

These 3 kids ( I’m old enough i can call them kids) ran 2nd, 3rd, and 4th this past Sunday at Sun Prarie, on a total drivers track.
They finished ahead of guys like Hatton, Olson, and Mayhew. They finished behind another good one named Felker.

These kids, while unknown to National fans and owners, have the talent to be known by all. Yet, they can only afford to run where they can.... In a division that was created just for this reason.

Andy Baugh finished 2nd on a hammer down, on the cushion race track, rolling the bottom with a motorcycle engined car.

Mitchell Davis finished 3rd hammering the cushion in a 16 year old car with an Ecotec in it that has only non stock cams.

Chase Mcdermand finished 4th rim riding with a stock Ecotec ( and yes, it’s stock, aside from what some uneducated might say).

These are just 3 examples of why this division was created. At Sycamore on Saturday, there 21 more examples of why the need was there to create a less expensive way to go Midget racing.

Come see for yourself this weekend at Speed Week how good it really is!
That was well put Craig....the way it should have been said to began with!!
