Prior to the final restart, he was catching leader Chase Stockon and when he threw a slider to take the lead, he drifted too high into turn 4. Not only was he countered by Stockon, he also lost second to Dave Darland. On the restart, Thomas would start third, right behind Stockon and Darland. After the green flew again, KT went back on the hunt, passed Darland for second and quickly reeled in the leader. This time, the slider for the lead would stick and he drove off for the victory. Darland would fall prey to the surging Chris Windom and race Hard Charger Brady Bacon. In the last third of the race, Thomas made some very bold moves to take positions. The kind when they're done at this track, make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. Jerry
