This is so wrong that its almost insulting. Yea, some country boys chew but seems to be a dying trend and you don't see it represented at Late Model races anymore versus other type of dirt racing events.
I've seen NASCAR stuff being worn at all kinds of dirt events (Anymore I am a part of that; either Larson shirt or event shirt is what you'll usually see me in), but most fans will have a driver shirt or a dirt event shirt on at Late Model races.
I do agree that the bases are pretty different generally speaking but do not agree that your assertion is true of Late Model crowds; any more than any Sprint crowd. What they both have in common it seems is they like beer.
As someone who likes to stay sober and enjoy the event, the winged sprint fans seem to be the biggest beer drinkers and the most annoying when drunk... well outside of NASCAR only fans. Those folks are real a$#h0!#$ a lot of the time.
