It's Race Day in Jacksonville with a full night of action on tap for our second event of the season. Pit gates open at 4:15, Grandstands open at 5:00. Racing at 7:00.

Adult admission $12, Ages 11-18 $7, Kids 10 and under Free.

There's a chance Mother Nature is going to save us a load with the water truck around 3:00, but nothing looks like it's going to be a show killer. We plan to race and we plan to live through a little 30 min late afternoon line of showers because behind it the weather is absolutely spectacular.. It's going to be a beautiful night and a fun night at Jacksonville Speedway.

Please don't call asking "Is it going to rain?" Your radar is as good as mine. If there's a little green on your screen moving in our direction, that means it's probably going to rain a little. We don't need to be told "It's raining in Pittsfield or Litchfield or any other field. Any afternoon rain is going to be scattered, so it might be raining at Lenz field and not raining at the race track. Again, we plan to race and we plan to be playing the National Anthem at 7:00 in beautiful weather with the threat already behind us.
