I have been attending the Daytona 500 for the past 30 years. It is a show during the downtime for open wheel racing, Indy Cars, and in a warmer climate than NW Indiana. Beside, it gives us a chance to see some of the best racers do their thing Schrader, Gordon, Stewart, Kahne, Newman, Larson, Yeley, Armstrong , and the list goes on. I know some people like to downplay Nascar racing but the talent it takes to be successful at that level is the highest. Plus the fact is they can make a lot of money and good for them.
