Crown cars are distance cars and almost never run heats anywhere.
They do run a LCQ if entrees are above a certain point. to eliminate some. Haven't had to do that in awhile but it is growing, Which is a good thing
It's usually practice, Qualifying and a hundred lapper or hundred miles.
It's also usually roll them to the front straight and fire them up with a starter and battery cart like Indycar but being part of a bigger show, they just push started them. They do have clutch's which means they can stop and keep it running and roll off if needed and the drivers quick to react during a spin or something as not to stall it.
