Talking with some of the locals they said it rivaled and might of been even better then the Outlaw crowds of late. You could feel the energy last night and the last 10 laps you could hear the buzz in the crowd as the race for the lead closed up culminating into a final 2 lap barnburner that had them on their feet and loud. The one thing about PA race fans are they are knowledgeable passionate and show great appreciation for a great race. It was cool to see a majority of the crowd stay for victory lane and show their appreciation to Chris and Bryan for the show they just witnessed. Pit area was jammed with fans and especially kids after the races. A cool moment after the races was with BC just out of the car that was still steaming a little smoke in the air and him sweating dirty and maybe just a hint of dejection a little girl who was in her finest dress with a princess sash and a little crown tapping him on the knee for a hug and a picture. When I read Dave Argobright's "Best of Times In my mind it is always this exact scene I picture at the end of those races. Incredible night !
Congrats to Williams Grove Speedway, USAC, The Drivers, and especially Chris Windom and BC for putting on a show that I know will pack the place even fuller next year.
