Just because someone uses a credit card doesn't mean they don't have the money to be racing,in our case we had a set budget of x amount of dollars to race on and we would use the card to basically cut down on the amount of receipts we needed to keep throughout the season.
By using the credit card we got an itemized statement every month that showed when and where the money was spent and how much was spent,we then would write a check from our racing account to pay off the card at the end of every month. What's wrong with doing that?
I agree with Tim, why was this question asked to the fans and not to the participants? I know that there are some very knowledgeable fans out there,but I'm not sure if some of them fully know of all the costs that are inccured in the day to day operations of a race team.
