The Sheldon Kinser MEMORIAL is tradition. If you call it something else than the "Sheldon Kinser Memorial" it loses its roots and prestige to me.No one should be able to change the name of this race and expect its glamour to stay the same. This race has been one of the most memorable races in recent years at Bloomington Speedway. The most memorable Sheldon Kinser Memorial has to be when Kenny Niflis drove from 16th to win it! A local kid with sprint car dreams winning possibly the biggest race Bloomington has to offer, hell even the Indiana region, I'll go as far to say that. It is that prestigious of a win. Just ask Don and Brady they have been ever so close.Hell we all know they will get one and its only a matter of time, Brady is that freakin good, no questions asked, he is! One of the greatest races I've witnessed in my 23 years of life. Just look at the names who have won this race. Don't do away with this race Hamilton(not sure if you are, just speculation on this forum, Im totally in favor of you being the new GM!), its one of the few races I don't even question the admission cost because Kenny Niflis showed us what magical things can happen during the "Sheldon Kinser Memorial", it is my favorite Bloomington race of all time. Simple as that.
