What does everyone thing of the person, I WILL NOT call her a lady, that I feel totally butchered our National Anthem before the Indianapolis 500 on national tv on Memorial Day weekend? If you can't sing it the way it was written many years ago, ESPECIALLY on a National Holiday honoring the fallen veterans of the US, then don't sing it, let someone that knows it do it. IRL, NASCAR, weekly tracks, ALL event organizers of any kind of event, lets at least keep our National Anthem intact as it originated. We've lost too much of the American Heritage now so lets not lose this also.

What do the rest of you think about this? As we know many of the sanctioning bodies, track promoters, etc read this board so all of you that agree with this please let them know we expect proper respect for our country and veterans.

This is a little rant I've had for years, even before the Rosanne Barr ordeal. Get the old song books out and read and sing the music like we used to learn how to do in grade school.
