In my random "cruising the southern part of the state" this past weekend, I came across an old non down tube sprint car sitting in the weeds in someone's front yard. I pulled in the drive to get a better look at it, but didn't get out for fear of being fired upon. It was a black car with a red painted chassis. It had some pin striping and a #3 on the tail tank.
Does anyone know who may have owned/driven the car when it was actually running the circuit? Location is in the area of Bean Blossom. I'm still tossing the idea around in my head of going and offering the guy some money for it and try to do a restoration project on it.
