I showed pictures to a long time chassis builder/repairer and he said in the early 70's many tracks required a full cage while some only ran a hoop so many cars were built or modified to fit the rules where they ran and some even had bolt cages so they could run anywhere. He is going to do some work on the chassis later this year and will be able to tell me more then. He said the car looks like it could be from the 60's or early 70's because that is the body style they ran at the time. He said that body work was built for that chassis because it wouldn't fit on a later chassis without modifications.
