The more the top class is on the track, The better. Done right, Qualifying takes NO time from the show. You need to hotlap a half hour earlier to get the start time right. Thats what you do.
Burn up the track? It wasn't prepped right in the first place. Haven't been to Fremont in years but it was always a black sheet of ice when I went.
The results with start and finish positions show there was tons of passing.
Can't have fun at the race track..................................
