Chastaj: I believe the discussion on "hobby sprints" is about car counts. Your comparison of Paragon to other tracks and the associated car counts is a prime example of what may be required to up car counts. Let's face it, most, if not all, local racing (sprints, modifieds, stocks, etc) is a form of hobby racing. Even USAC and to an extent WoO is, for the most part, a hobby for the car owners and all but a few of the drivers. Hobby or "professional" I believe fans just want to see exciting, competitive, side by side racing - oh, and good car counts.
