Steve, they're division II midgets that have to be a stock block and head configuration 2.4 liter and under. (I had ours at Lincoln when you were there)
Basically the same rules BADGER went to. It makes sense (or as much sense as can be made being racers)
We had a wore out Fontana in our midget that needed about $3,500.00 worth of work to be back together, which would have still been a wore out Fontana. For a fraction of that cost with a little back yard engineering we have a Chevy Ecotec in our midget that is competitive with the Division II cars.
We're not going to go to POWRi and compete with it. It sure is fun running with the BAM series, especially when we can double dip with the sprint car like we are Saturday
