The Little 500 is special because of the live pit stops, and the fact that it takes a team to win it. Take those components out and you have another typical Saturday night race that just happens to be a little longer. That's not an event. The Little 500 has all of the prestige and intrigue because it is the only event like it in the world. It takes so much hard work, dedication, talent, and luck to win this race to change the format would be an insult to the previous 67 winners. The Little 500 is just fine the way it is.
