I think racers are starting to take into account that the promoters are not the cut throats we felt them to be many years ago. I said this a long time ago that running most race tracks will not make you enough money to by a new Corvette but if you didn't run a race track there would be a pretty good chance you might be able to get a loan to buy one. Publishing the pay out is much better than having the racers think the worst.
Racers need to look at track owners as a partner and visa versa. We really do need one another. and anybody that preps a race track and also a couple of race cars every week probably has some wips and handcuffs hidden under the bed.
