Remember this: track owners and promoters spend as much $$ or more time on getting the track race ready and getting the fans there as each racer spends getting his car ready to race. It is very tough on all of us but we ALL have to work together and it has to be a give and take deal anymore....the last couple of years have been testy to say the least but as we grow with our car count and the D-2 rules as written sure helps as far as cost efficiency on engines with the % of $$ that is quite better. We also have a belief that it cost each and every racer the same amount of $$ to get to the track and the same to get in the track therefore we believe in a good breakdown and not all on top.

here is a scale we go by in the SSMS

1-5 cars all cars get 100

6-10 cars
1. 200
2. 150
3. 140
4. 130
5. 125
6. 120
7. 115
8. 110
9. 105
10. 100 guaranteed to start

11-15 cars
1. 300
2. 200
3. 160
4. 140
5. 130
6. 125
7. 120
8. 115
9. 110
10. 105
11. 100 to start

16-20 cars
400 to win 100 to start

21 or more cars
500 to win 100 to start
