Only equating the purse structure in to what form of racing is most beneficial for a team's ROI is short sighted. The teams / drivers that are successful in making this a viable way of making a living understand this. Not saying one is better then the other from that standpoint but more goes into the equation then just what it pays to win or start an event. I am willing to guess that a team that is successful generate far more income from sponsor / branding opportunities then they could ever hope to generate from purse structure. That is unless you ask Donny Shatz

Drivers, racing someone else's car. perhaps yes, splitting 3000 is more than 12-1500
