to get started in racing i worked three jobs, saved for two years and spent no extra money for that time period. i hate it when something happens and for some reason you cant run the b or you get crashed in the heat and you have to leave the track with no compenstaion. but it has happened to me a couple of times. the good thing is that all but one time it was with mscs. i still got my $100 tow money. at most local tracks if you dont start the b you get nothing. i have never understood that.....but with all that said. there is no reason that i as a racer should put my expensive equipment on the track that i worked my ass off dont you think that i deserve at least the courtesy of getting my pit pass money back at the least. kevin i support you 100% on this issue. craig hit the nail on the head about the "better than you" tone of short's post. it may have been taken out of context, but the way it reads just says "Im better than you and I know it." there are a lot of teams with not a ton of money who are kicking ass every week. Fox brothers and stand-on-it bro! come to mind.
