:thumbsdown:I have sat and read every page on this post trying not to get angry by some of the things said. I truly beleive that everyone on this board has the right to their own opinion and I guess that goes for me also. I do not know Kevin personally, have raced him several times usually coming out looking at his tail tank, but I could not agree with him more. It is funny how the idea behind his original post gets lost and turned into something totally different. I have raced with USAC a few times in the midgets before moving up to sprint cars, that being said I never felt unwelcomed however Kevin's points are the exact reason that I have not run in the sprint division. The idea that I am going to pay more to get in and register than I would make in tow money if they paid it which of course they dont is absurd. I liken in to the actors in the broadway play that everyone pays to see first have to pay to get in to act for us. Come on.........
The whole locking in 32 is a totally different idea that I also don't like but that has been dragged through the mud to many times to count. The bottom line is that no matter what anyone thinks, USAC does need all of us little guys to put on a good show. We are the reason most of the local fans show up to watch us give it all we have against the "Big Dogs" and as a little guy we enjoy the opportunity to measure ourselves against the best.
Sorry it got long winded but Kevin has the right idea. Do not support those who do not support us. Kevin hopefully I will see you at Danville Friday night. I always enjoy getting waxed by the good ones and you definetley are one of the best.
