Guys it sounds like your really a lot madder at Toyota than USAC... Lets Face Facts, If any one of the Big 3 would step up, Toyota would not be in USAC... Also, lets note that those same Big 3 have taken most of our jobs and went both North and South of the Border with them..... Try at least being equally as Mad at Them as you are at Toyota for filling the void....
Also, I like Greg Stabb but it sounds to me like he's not the only head going to roll.... As for the Drivers coming and going, Get the Heck over it.... So did Foyt. So did a whole lot of others. They always will... As long as they come back now and then for the fans, or they build teams to help other young drivers, What more do you want...
Are we to be Mad at Tony and Kasey because they are putting MONey and talent Back into the Sport????
My point is that you Can;t Fix USAC from the outside looking in and just ******** about it... You have to work Harder to Be Involved... Contribute not only Ideas but do the Leg Work... The Dirty Work that it takes to make shows work... Then maybe you will not only Heard, but Listened Too...
Here's a Point that Everyone could help out with... SPONSorship,,, Almost everyone thinks USAC needs to do more... How many of you have Tried Helping out with that... A lot easier said than done, believe me... but try.... don;t just say you can;t...try... Even if its just a few dollars compared to whats needed overall... Those few dollars mean a lot these days... Take it on yourself to find a Heat Sponsor for a Race maybe even find a Contengency Award.... Here;s an idea, Find a Heat Sponsor for each of the Sprint Week Races... Try finding an extra 50.00 for a team that travels to your track from out of State for help with Fuel... Find some Gift Certs for Meals at your Local Restaraunts... Anything you can Find, it All Helps... and when you have tried that, maybe you can get the idea of how easy it is to look for a Title Sponsor, just for 1 Race, let alone a National Series....
This Addiction we have for Racing, is Expensive for everyone... Finding a way for Racing at any level to survive in the Future will be constant struggle.... Enjoy what we have today because its Going To Change very soon.....
