Seeing as its not actually drawling any current I don't see it affecting the firing of the coil, but it will still see electricity present when firing #1 coil. The problem is the spark plug pu is too sensitive and picks up all the other jumbled up magnetic pulses made by your ignition system and makes the tack read crazy numbers. You can send it back to Mychron I think somewhere in Virginia and they can convert it over to work off of the primary or tac wire from your ecm.
