I can't speak from experience at the sprint car tracks that host dirt late models, but I can speak with ample experience in regards to Fairbury. What I say is the absolute truth. Since Fairbury is less than a 40 minute drive from us I really hope the POWRi collaboration works out well. I remember very well the last few times open wheel cars were welcomed to Fairbury and the lack of interest in those shows is the reason the open wheel cars haven't been invited back in well over 10 years.
As far as the term econo-mods is concerned it was merely semantics. If the term econo-mod is offensive to some then I'm really sorry. However, regardless of the cost of ownership and maintenance they are nonetheless a filler division. You say tomato and I say tomato, it's all the same thing.
