Format for

Winternationals for Division II type Midgets/Lightning Sprints


Thursday/Friday Nights:
  • Pill draw/split into group of 4
  • Hotlaps 2 sessions Thursday 1 session Friday each group (must go out with your group)
  • Heats determine by pill draw - 8 laps each
  • Take top 4 out of heats in passing points
  • 2 B's if needed - 12 laps each (1st "B" inside...2nd "B" outside rows 9-12) Start 24
  • A mains 20 laps each Thurs./Fri.
  • Top 12 in points from both nights will lock into Sat. 40 lap A

    Friday Night: Race of Champions
  • Must be a track or series/club Champion of whom you will be representing
    If 2014 champion does not show for that Series/club, we will put each car # into a hat from each series or club and draw that car # to respresent that series/club for the RoC
  • Pay top 3 finish - 10 laps

    Saturday Night:
  • Group hotlaps by points
  • All but top 12 in points run heats
  • Heats will line up by accumulated points from Thurs./Fri. night (top 2 finish go to "A")
  • B main/s line up the way you finish heat (no passing points)
  • 2 six (6) lap dashes of the top 12 in points to determine top 6 rows feature lineup
    12 from points...6-8 from heats rest from B to start 24...HOWEVER Promoters choice 2 car #'s will be drawn after the B's of all that did not make it and that will make up the 26 car starting field of the 1st Annual Gator "DIRT" Nationals for 2015
