I can remember my Mother in Law, going by stores in the late evening, or Sunday mornings, with their "CLOSED" signs in the window, she thought they were GONE, rest her soul, just because someone gets a wrong number, or see's a closed sign, they think it's over, I used to have to put a "gone to lunch" sign in my window, rather than closed, or I'd never see anyone again.
