I've used the one-way radio for several years starting with the ford focus midgets all the way through the national midgets and sprint cars and can attest to them saving us a car or two. USAC will notify you if the caution or red is out and also if there is oil somewhere on the track. The best example of this was at the milwaukee mile a couple years ago in the midget when teddy beach had lost an engine in 3 and oiled the track down. Halfway down the backstraight running 150+ mph they jumped on the radio and let us know giving time to get slowed down, had they not it would have been a big big crash. Lineups, penalty explainations, and even letting you know when you are coming to the green all make it worth the money. There is nothing I hate more than when we run a local show with our sprintcar and have to roll around for five laps because either someone is being an idiot trying to restart in the wrong spot or someone has a flat and wont pull in, the radio stops most of that.
