Welcome to the Indiana Open Wheel board Chris. I would like to personally and publicly "thank you" for the enourmous amount of time and work you have put into reviving the Terre Haute Action Track.
In a very short period of time, and often with very little help, you were able to bring the Action Track back to life and in a pretty spectacular way. The reconstruction, improvements and upgrades made to the track surface, drainage, guardrails, inside walls, PA system, electrical system, safety lighting, etc. are awesome.
I know there is still some work to be done and some fine tuning to be made, but considering the amount of time the track has set idle and the amount of work that was done in a few short weeks, you should have nothing but pride in the show that was given the fans on Sunday afternoon.
Dust is part of dirt track racing that is very difficult to control completely, especially on a day show, fighting the wind and sun. You had no more dust than Brownstown did on Saturday night for their sprint show. The big difference was the setting sun going down the back stretch which compounded the visibility issue. That has been an issue as long as I can remember.
Thanks again for your enourmous contribution to the Terre Haute Action Track. :respect:
