DMA MIDGETS RESUME AT BRADFORD AUGUST 9;
PIERSON GRABS “DOUBLE POINTS” RACE AT BEAR RIDGE
Adam Pierson will take a 123-point lead over Josh Sunn into the August 9 USAC DMA Midget race in Bradford, Vt. after winning Saturday night’s bid “double-points” race.
Pierson led the final 16 laps of the 30-lap race at Bear Ridge Speedway after passing Vince Lucca on lap 15. Lucca led the first 14 laps. Sunn took second ahead of Dean Christensen, Anthony Nocella and Scott Viets.
Viets retains third in the latest standings after his “top-5” finish Saturday.
