We never use on of them "DYNO" things. If you have the injection and the add on box that was mapped for that injection you should be pretty darned close. We have even run stock maps and ecm's and adjusted mixture with fuel pressure and seems to do pretty good. My advice to you would be to get the car running and to the race track and start working on seat time in the car.
The dyno is in fact probably just a little Bull, giving the person who has received the service bragging right about how much Horsepower they got out of their motor. We motor around them DYNO CARS all the time. If you are just starting out that old R1 is going to have more power than you can use anyhow. Get your feet wet and then decide what you need to do next. I would put my money on shocks bars and tires.
