I appreciate everyone's input (and apologize if it appears that I highjacked this thread; certainly not my intention). Looks like I may have more serious issues as there's a pretty large puddle of oil under the car. I know I have one stripped oil pan bolt hole thread and it's been weeping all season but this is a lot more than the quarter-sized drips I've gotten in a week's time previously. I'm pretty sure it's from the contact or subsequent landing but if it's not something I can remedy easily once she's on the stands I fear the motor's going to have to come out. Best-case is all it needs is a heli-coil and a new gasket, second best is a cracked pan (anybody got a good pan for a '92 GSXR?). Third best I don't even want to think about...
