On a positive note, the sprinters put on really intense racing. I've never seen cars stay that sideways all the way around a track. They had to be close to 90 degrees all around turn one and a lot of times hiking the left side way off the ground. I really love the way those cars run on a flat track as compared to a banked one. Hopefully, they'll be back again. They put on a great show and the crowd looked decent enough, maybe. Stockon gave it all he had and then some, great to watch. I agree Balog looked really good and these days hardly anyone can keep up with the USAC regulars. It would be great to see him come down to THAT for sprint week. I remember seeing fellow cheesehead Kim Mock run pretty good at the Action Track back in the day and it sounded like he's got the pony's under the hood to be competitive.
