Good question, as soon as you water a slick track you wanna wait a while so it will soak in....pack trucks will only make a mess....gotta give it some time and then run it in.....it's a very tough decision how much water and how long do you wait.....it's no fun at all...and then a lot of times it goes back to the way it was a few laps after the rework if your not patient enough and let it soak in some.....I am speaking for myself, not 100% sure that's the case elsewhere.
