This race blew by so fast, I didn't even notice that Dewease had pulled off. I wondered what happened to him. I knew Blaney had problems because he never took his starting position and trailed the field at the start.
Saldana kind of look like Jac H up against the wall coming out of two. At one point, I thought he may have damaged his car and seemed to slow, but then picked up the pace again after another lap. Also, I believe he blew around Pittman on lap3. I glanced back in the field and bam, he was in the lead.
Don't know about that many classic slide jobs in the sprint feature (races like that are a blur to me and it's hard to focus on anything; hell, even the scoreboard couldn't keep up).
The best slide job I saw was in the Stock car feature when the guy in the orange 21 moved from 5th to 3rd by diving to the bottom of turn1. Pulled it off beautifully. Made me smile.
I believe if the race had gone about 5 more laps, Kinser would have caught Schatz and Pittman.
I got there very late (B Main was just hitting track). But still, they must have run a very quick and orderly show because I arrived at about 9pm (got caught up in bad weather leaving Pittsburgh; the Lernerville show Friday night was very good with Jacobs taking the win).
The mod feature was also a winner.
See everybody at Winchester later today (and maybe Kokomo if everything works right).
