I am new to midgets and I am very very confused. :headbang
I have a 2000 Ellis 34" chassis, tortion bar rear end, coil over front.
I was told my blocking height should be 3 at the rear and 2 1/2 at the front. When I put the car on the ground I have a 61/2" ride height!!!
Coming from late models that have a 4" ride height, this just does not seem right to me...
What is the average ride height (from floor to frame rail)? Is there a purpose in blocking from the frame to the axle? What is the purpose of blocking this way?
I am going to be running mainly on a 1/4 mile, maybe 8 degree, mostly dry-slick track. Should I reverse rake the car?
I really appreciate any and all help I can get!

Thanks!
