Great throwback concept of years ago. I remember going to Sandusky for the first 8 or 10 Hy-Miler Nationals and guys like Johnny Logan, Bruce Robey, and Bob Seelman all ran Sprints against the Supers. Great show. If my memory serves me correctly, I think Logan won the Friday night race one year in a bright orange #99 Sprinter with chrome rims. Guy drove his ass off to win that race. They did the same thing at Winchester for years. It's a great show. Rich Vogler beat the Supers with his Sprinter many a time. The only thing that would hurt this event is the mid-week scheduling. I haven't seen Sandusky's schedule yet, maybe this event should be aligned with the Hy-Miler event to ensure it's success.
