I remember a couple years ago at Montpelier they only brought 12 or 13 cars the year before that it was mid 30s..having 3 sanctioning bodies has really thinned out the car counts, especially if their are 2 races on the same night..but the racing is still just as good. I think promoters look at the number aspect on scheduling them..If they only bring in 14 cars how many ppl will they put in the seats etc..stronger car counts help bring the organizations back..personally I love tq racing.
