Beason has raced for a long long time down in that area... he ran micros a bunch, he was very loyal to the SMRS Midget series down in OK for many years, and I'm pretty sure he won a championship or 2 with them. He has ran the chilibowl many times in his own Red #36 car, and put it in the Saturday night A feature at least once but I'm thinking twice. He also dabbled in ASCS 360 sprints for a couple years.
