Being ones to head down to Volusia when we can, here is a compiling of the list of events starting in late January and going through the end of the short track Winter season down South.
Things to note:
Golden Isles Speedway and Screven Motor Speedway are dirt tracks in Georgia. Citrus County Speedway and Showtime Speedway are paved tracks in Inverness and Clearwater, FL, respectively. Three Palms Speedway is the former Punta Gorda Speedway. North Florida Speedway is in Lake City.
The events at Daytona International Speedway are on temporary half mile on the backstretch. For anything on the big track, feel free to browse the DIS website. This is a short track thread only.
New Smyrna has the John Blewitt III Memorial on the 19th and the Richie Evans Memorial on the 21st for the Modifieds. 100 laps for the Super Late Models on the 22nd.
WoO Late Models are paying $10,000 to win on the 15th and $12,000 to win on the 16th at Bubba's.
Lucas Oil Late Models are paying $10,000 to win the final two nights at the East Bay Winternationals (14th & 15th). The 360 sprints are paying $10,000 to win the final night there, also (22nd).
I left all "practice" dates off of the list.
