It was run with the usac ignite series last year and there are 3 other series in the Midwest that these engines on dirt with national rules. I would not be supprised to see a pavement series pop up also. I believe the current rule in usac for a 4 valve engine is 2 liter this it 2.4. Usac if they had any insite into midget racing would allow any production blocked and headed engine under 2.4 liters. These are not putting out the 380 hp that the $30k engines are. They are affordable to most people and are what midget racing was 20 years ago in the Chevy2 and vw hey day. Usac needs to find the way to start phasing in these power plants and rejuvenate midget racing or they will be its demise!
