I always thought Darland was good, but I really became a fan when he got fired from a top midget ride (Lewis?) a few years ago for being "too old". I thought if he's too old, I'm in real trouble, because I'm a lot older than he is, and I'm still working at my job.
So I've cheered for him ever since, rooting for him to make that car owner sorry he ever did it.
