I was at the race. I would say no (at the time). Watching replays, I can see were people would second guess them. The flagman was waiving the checkered flag before the incident (seems odd to say that), but it seemed like the thing to do, the cars are so fast you obviously wave the flag before the cars cross the line. The front two guys were racing for the win, there was contact, and Kyle limped across the line. Obviously if a yellow or red was thrown, Kyle was done. He would have lost the overall win, main event win and his going for the win (main) might have seemed stupid. Also at the time, I thought maybe Kyle might have caused the incident, but after watching replays, if anything Brad caused the incident. He took the low line trying to avoid Kyle doing a slide job, and instead Kyle took the high side. Brad slid up into Kyle. After being there, and watching replay, it was a racing accident and I think Brad and Kyle are about as clean racers as any.

To be honest, I hate when the winner see's the checkered flag, they throw the caution. It can dratically change the outcome. In this case, maybe a caution should of been thrown, but watching the race, it seemed natural. Not sure the flag man could of dropped the checkered flag (s) (not sure he had doubled or a single flag, and have time to pull out the yellow. Also, there could have been no intentional plan to allow Kyle to win, it happened so fast and kinda unexepectedly. Kyle really made some ground the last lap.

I think Johhny gibson tried to stir some things up. The greatest show on Earth is the Trophy Cup, not Woo.. Seemed he was kinda jealous, IMHO. (and I am a diehard non-wing fan). No matter what next race I go to, even the Ovals at the PAS, they just seem downright boring compared to all the action at the Trophy Cup. Unless you go, you will never understand how hard the guys race FOR EVERY POINT EVERY TIME THEY HIT THE TRACK. In heat races, generally only guys race SUPER HARD for the transfer spot. In the trophy cup, everyone races like it is the transfer spot every race.

Great race, if you ever get a chance, go
