I thought it was another enjoyable evening Chris. Good racing and they really make this an event. The largest racing crowd I believe I have seen at the fairgrounds in quite some time.
So many series and promoters could take a page out of the AMA manual on how to run a show. They say they will start racing at 7:30 PM and they do. They run the show in a very efficient manner with a couple of 10 minute intermissions (and I do mean 10 minutes). They ran 6 heat races, three semi features, a dash for quick qualifiers and two feature events and we were walking out of the grandstands at 10:30 PM.
The announcing team also has found a way to introduce the drivers and starting positions when it is quite and you can hear that information. I have attended a number of AMA shows and they seem to pull this off each and every time. They seem to have found a secret that very few tracks or series seem to be able to match.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
