After starting on the outside of row 1, Andy Baugh gained the lead on lap 3 and never looked back as he parked his lightning sprint in victory lane at Peoria Speedway with the Illinois Lightning Sprint Series. Billy Brickley gave Baugh a run for his money, but would ultimately finish in a close 2nd place. Austin Archdale started back in 6th, but was able to make a late race pass to take home 3rd place. Brad Funk finished in the 4th position & Jake Sollenberger rounded out the top 5. The Illinois Lightning Sprint Series will once again be back in action with the wings on Saturday, August 17th, at Peoria Speedway.
