I posted in tech forum, thought it might get read here

Our Tel-Tac-II quit working, changed the battery and it still doesn't work however the display is now visible it is scrambled.
Has anybody had this issue before and been able to fix it? I've searched the net and cannot find the manufacturer. Has anyone sent one in for repair?
