With Eldora rained out Jesse headed back home and put a whoopin on Braian Brown, Randy Martin and the rest of the 35 car field at the opening race for the Winged Outlaw Warriors at La Mont Speedway. Jesse won his heat, and started outside front row in the feature. "The Rocket'' was just that in his own #77 car. With the Frankenstein powered by RMS racing engines, Jesse was blazing fast and lapped the field up to 6th place. In front of a lot of home fans Hockett put on a good show and made sure they got their moneys worth. We were all glad to see you kick some @$$ Jesse, lets get the lid off and put it to those USAC boys now!
