Kokomo has ran the kokomo klassic the Sunday of Memorial day weekend for the last few years. The cars that were at Kokomo probably wouldnt have been at TSS anyways. The smaller teams cant afford to drive all the way there. Yea the purse was higher but a lot of the smaller guys cannot afford that. The car counts for the Kiss races this year have all been in the lower 30s that could be because of the weather..or teams just dont have the money. It just seems guys are staying closer to home. As for the scheduling other shows, I just dont think promoters can take a chance on running something other than their regular show. Gas City tried the Sunoco alms series a few years and the car counts just dropped off. Why pay out a larger purse for a series and not get the fans or the cars to support it? LPS did the summer nats and it didnt seem like the fans supported that with a pretty high purse. Sorry for getting off topic but there were some other questions about other series lol =P
